Kongobu-ji

An ancient temple nestled within five peaks on the eastern side of Kii province. Kongobu-ji is noted for being the first Buddhist temple in Japan, and carries with it a long and proud history. The priests of the temple were once responsible for keeping the area clear of dangerous Youkai, but they have since been wiped out by Umashiashikabihikoji, a Chosokabe operative.
